I have some more wrestling trivia for you. Again, these may be things you know or didn’t know about past and present WWE superstars.

Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels entrance music was originally written for him by Jimmy Hart.

His real name is Michael Shawn Hickenbottom. He hated being called Michael so people called him Shawn.

He is ambidextrous. He uses his right hand to draw and color and his left hand to write. He uses his right leg to deliver Sweet Chin Music, but sometimes uses his left leg for his kicks.

Marty Janetty

Marty Jannetty was arrested on a domestic incident, which lead to his release from the WWE in 2005.

Bret Hart

The 4 hearts that used to be on the right thigh of his trunks symbolize his four children as well as the four dots.

Dynamite Kid

The Dynamite Kid was married to the sister of Bret Hart’s first wife.

He made several enemies in the WWE including Brutus Beefcake and Jacques Rougeau.

Jim Neidhart

Jim Neidhart was married to Bret Hart’s sister.

The Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior used to tag team with Sting.

He legally changed his name to Warrior to retain the legal rights to use the name outside of the WWE.

Brutus Beefcake

Brutus Beefcake started his career being billed as Hulk Hogan’s brother.

John Bradshaw Layfield

John Bradshaw Layfield had a non-cancerous cyst removed in February 2006.

George “The Animal” Steele

George “The Animal” Steele made an appearance in Ed Wood.

    This was very interesting. I didn’t know that Brutus Beefcake (oh what a name!) was once billed as Hogan’s brother. Hickenbottom! That’s quite a handle.

    Thank you. I used to think that Brutus Beefcake and Hulk Hogan were brothers because my uncle said that they were. He must have watched it when they were wrestling together as brothers. I wasn’t watching it then which is why I believed it. I hope your husband likes the article.
