WWE history
WWE has had its best moments in the past. The show was rising in high popularity up to its peak over many years until 2002-2003 when the wrestling entertainment had started falling down. This was due to changes they had made in producing quality episodes and matches. You can read more about this issue here ‘Why has WWE fallen in Popularity over the Years?’
World Wrestling entertainment would not have been the way it was 10 years ago if it was not for 2 wrestlers who received so much love from the heart of their fans. These two wrestlers were Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Unfortunately, they are no longer here to entertain us anymore and it would be the next best thing if they did make a comeback. However, this will only happen in our dreams.
Let us now write about their achievement here on WWE and what they have done for us over the years!

Stone Cold Steve Austin
He is one of the biggest superstars in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment! We cannot forget the memories that this wrestler has brought us. It would take forever to write about his history in the business, so I will only mention some of his best achievements.
1) Six time WWF champion
2) 1996 king of the ring
3) Winner of the 1997, 1998 and 2001 royal rumble matches
When did his career begin?
Austin joined WWE in 1995. At this time the company was known as WWF and his ring name was ‘The Ringmaster’.
He was also in control by his manager Ted Dibiase who later was forced to leave the company following Austin’s loss against Savio Vega in a strap match.
When did he become one of the big stars?
Austin’s big moment came when he won the 1996 King of the Ring with his new move, the Stone Cold Stunner. After throwing Marc Mero out of the ring, he was left with ‘The Snake’ and he managed to throw him out as well.
Since his great achievement in the King of the Ring win, Austin became the biggest star in Wrestling along with The Rock. Despite the fact that he has forever gone from the WWE, he will always be remembered by the love of the fans! ‘That’s the bottom line, coz stone cold said so!’

The Rock
‘Do you smell what The Rock is cooking?’ Yes I certainly do! He has cooked himself into a big superstar throughout those years when he was present. Sadly, like Austin, he has also disappeared from our sight. He too has made big impacts to World Wrestling Entertainment which I cannot describe how as it would take a long time to tell you. I will only mention some of his greatest achievements.
1) 7 time WWF Champion
2) 2 time Intercontinental Champion
3) 5 time Tag Team Champion
4) Winner of the 2000 Royal Rumble
When did he become one of the big stars?
The Rock’s popularity in the business grew very quickly since he joined in 1996. Two years later, he won the WWF Champion which was the beginning of his success in the industry.
Despite the fact that he has also forever gone from the WWE, he does make occasional appearances. However, as time continues to drift into the future, it seems that he is growing far more apart. We shall always remember him from the love of his fans.

It is heartbreaking to see that WWE lost its two favourite wrestlers. Stone Cold and The Rock were the only wrestlers who brought WWF alive and full of life. Since their retirement, we have seen the appalling results left behind by the viewers. This proves that WWE might not be the same again. If only the changes to the ratings are made, we can hope for better episodes.
