Welcome to TNA Impact Wrestling for November 17th 2011, in the Impact Zone. All of the fallout from TNA Turning Point, leading into TNA Final Resolution in December. This is TNA Impact Wrestling 11/17/11

TNA Impact Wrestling 11/17/11

Bobby Roode kicks off the show, with a few words, talking about how he lead and carried the rest of Fortune. Out comes James Storm to dispute this, accusing Roode of attacking him last week. Roode denies this and security holds Storm back. Then AJ Styles is out, to have some words. This segment did go on for a very long time but to make a rather long story short, Sting comes out to make AJ Styles against Bobby Roode in a thirty minute Iron Man Match after some nice back and forth. Then we have more with Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, and Dixie Carter, and Dixie Carter gets taken out. Oh noes! As AJ lays on top on Dixie, trying to protect her, Roode beats on him.

Samoa Joe is accused of attacking James Storm. Joe claims that he didn’t do it but if he did, then Storm wouldn’t be up to accuse him of doing it. And both fight backstage. They do some brawly brawly brawl brawl until it is broken up.

Sting and Roode have words backstage. Roode threatens a lawsuit against Sting.

Robbie E defeated Devon to retain the TNA Television Title

I’d like to thank TNA for putting all of the storylines that I can’t stand into one match. Devon’s kids are there, Pope is there, Eric Young, and Rob Terry get involved. There are about five million things going on and Robbie E keeps the title. Moving on.

Backstage with Sting, who makes another match with Gunner and Garrett Bischoff for tonight. Then Matt Morgan and Crimson pop up and Sting puts them together as a tag team, because there are no other tag teams. Well Jesse Neal just left the company and WHERE IN THE HELL ARE THE BRITISH INVASION! He puts Matt Morgan and Crimson together to take on Mexican America. It’s the wacky mismatched tag team partners that don’t get along. Haven’t seen that in a couple of months. Then Eric Bischoff pops up, with Ric Flair. Bischoff won’t sign the rewritten contract. Sting threatens violent. He’ll be in Garrett’s corner tonight.

Brian Kendrick and Jesse Sorenson defeated Kid Kash and AustinAries.

Middling X-Division action but Austin Aries can’t save this one. He walks out on Kid Kash, leaving Kash in the ring. Sorenson pins Kash with a swinging DDT. Match was just simply there.

Karen Jarrett is backstage plotting, giving Gail Kim the evening off and sending Madison Rayne to compete in the number one contenders gauntlet match.

James Storm asks Mr. Anderson if he was the one who attacked him but Mr. Anderson denies him. Assholes attack from the front after all, not from behind.

TNA Knockout’s Gauntlet Match for the Number One Contendership

Ten women gauntlet. Velvet Sky and Rosita start out the Gauntlet. Velvet quickly puts out Rosita. Next is Tessmacher, who gets taken out by Velvet rather easily. Angelina Love runs out next, the former Beautiful People go at it, with Angelina Love eliminating Velvet Sky from the Gauntlet Match. Here comes Mickie James and Angelina beats on her but Mickie eventually returns fire, scoring the elimination with the Mick Kick. Sarita is out, having a nice little sequence but Mickie James eliminates her with a DDT. Tara comes out and a good little section of the gauntlet, as per usual between these two women. Tara gives Mickie some anxious moments, but Mickie puts her down with the DDT once again for the three.

Winter is out next and Mickie James is on a nice little roll right here, putting down Winter for the pin. Out comes ODB, making her first appearance in a while. ODB beats on Mickie but Mickie manages to score the pin. ODB beats on Mickie some more, as Madison Rayne is the final woman in the gauntlet. The fix is obviously in with Karen Jarrett, Madison Rayne, and Gail Kim. Madison looks confident but Mickie James rolls up Madison for the pin. It’s Mickie James vs. Gail Kim for the TNA Knockout’s Title. Well that’s the best possible match you can do with these women, so good for you, TNA. Gauntlet was fine, even though a bit rushed in some ways.

Bully Ray and James Storm have a segment. Storm accuses Bully Ray. Ray denies but invites Storm to join Immortal. Storm declines, saying that has about the same chance has happening as Bully Ray getting laid. Oh no he did not.

Jeff Hardy is out to thank the fans and he wants to regain the TNA Championship. Karen Jarrett comes out, to rail on Jeff and distract him for an attack from the other Jeff, the Double J variety. Karen tries to go for the Little Jimmy, but Jeff Hardy shrugs that off and manages to fight off the Jarretts. This feud was doing so well had it ended last Sunday, so of course it must continue because this is wrestling in 2011 where feuds never end, they just continue until one day they’re dropped.

Mexican America have words as they prepare for the tag team title defense against Crimson and Matt Morgan.

Flair tells Gunner to do mean and nasty things to young Garrett Bischoff tonight.

Crimson and Matt Morgan defeated Mexican America to win the TNA Tag Team Titles.

Match was just passable enough. Matt Morgan scores with the Carbon Footprint and naturally we have new TNA Tag Team Champions.

James Storm vows to get to the bottom of who wiped him out.

Garrett Bischoff(w/Sting) defeated Gunner(w/Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff)

I remember when Gunner pinned Sting and Mr. Anderson in back to back weeks. Yet, he’s the first sacrifice to the push of doom of Eric Bischoff’s seed. Erik Watts(even though he did improve eventually but by then he had been tainted do to be Erik Watts and being shoved down people’s throats), David Flair, George Gulas, and now we’ve got Garrett Bischoff. Garrett gets the win. The former referee beat the former security guard. This was your wrestling main event.

James Storm comes out and accuses AJ Styles because Styles got two title shots. Styles is appalled at these accusation. Kazarian tries to make peace but things get heated. Then Kurt Angle pops up to say hi and attacks James Storm. Angle admits he did it. He also may have framed OJ, drove the white Hummer, and was Diamond Dallas Page’s secret benefactor, but the jury is still out on those last three. Angle tells Storm to tell his daughter who gave him a concussion and that be the show.
