Welcome to Impact Wrestling, on the road from Macon Georgia on November 10th 2011. Tonight, we’re going to see a return match from last week for the TNA Championship between Bobby Roode and James Storm. This is TNA Impact Wrestling for 11/10/11.

TNA Impact Wrestling 11/10/11

Recap of Bobby Roode winning the TNA Championship last week.

Roode cuts a promo in the ring, talking about his TNA Championship win. Out comes James Storm to attack Bobby Roode but Bobby Roode bails. Sting is out and announces a return match tonight between James Storm and Bobby Roode for the TNA Championship tonight. Sure, why not, I don’t care if TNA wants to give away money matches on free TV. It’s not my money they’re wasting.

A look at Crimson, leading to his match with Matt Morgan this Sunday at Turning Point.

Crimson defeated D’Angelo Dinero

That Pope/Joe feud earlier this year really did them both wonders, didn’t it? Crimson of course remains undefeated because he has a match with Matt Morgan. Red Sky gets the pin on the Pope. It was what it was.

Gunner rants and raves in the back.

Garrett Bischoff defeated Gunner via disqualification.

Ric Flair runs in quickly for the disqualification which is not a good thing for Eric Bischoff, as Eric Bischoff can get his contract redone by Sting. This match gets rated a big “W” for whatever.

James Storm is taken out in the back. The plot thickens.

Jesse Sorenson defeated Xema Ion.

Not too bad for the time it got. Sorenson scores the pin rather easily. Kid Kash comes out, to rip into Sorenson, saying that after twenty years in the business, Kash didn’t receive a thing but he’ll give Sorenson a shot at the X-Division Title in a three way match between Kash and champion Aries. Austin Aries comes out, with Kid Kash beating up Sorenson. There you go.

Karen Jarrett, Madison Rayne, and Gail Kim talk backstage. Karen Jarrett tells Gail Kim that she’s going to beat Velvet Sky for the Knockout’s Title at Turning Point.

Gail Kim and Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James and Velvet Sky to retain the TNA Knockout’s Tag Team Titles.

I found this match to be a rather enjoyable women’s tag team encounter. Not perfect but about as good as we can get with these women. Gail Kim pins Velvet Sky with the Eat Defeat, thus dooming her chances of winning the title this Sunday.

Sting checks on James Storm, who is rather beaten and bloodied and battered but tries to say that he’s fine.

Ronnie from the Jersey Shore and Eric Young defeated Robbie E and Rob Terry.

CLICK!

Immortal are backstage. Jeff Jarrett promises to finish Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray says that Mr. Anderson got lucky at Bound for Glory. Scott Steiner says that Hardy and Anderson should find a partner so Immortal can take them out.

Mexican America brawl with Ink Inc. There is a match this Sunday, yo.

AJ Styles defeated Christopher Daniels.

It is Daniels vs. Styles, of course it is going to be a decent match. Daniels gets foiled using the screwdriver of doom, by Rob Van Dam and this allows AJ Styles to get the win. A pretty good bout between these two competitors, but they’ve had better.

Abyss is out, so its Immortal vs. former Immortal in this six man tag team match. This gives me cause to dust off an old favorite.

Immortal Wolfpac of Jeff Hardy, Abyss, and Mr. Anderson defeated Immortal Black and White of Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, and Bully Ray.

For a bunch of washed up hasbeens and Abyss, this was a rather exciting tag team match, with lots of epic action, excitement, and drama. Abyss scores the win with the Black Hole Slam. Really exciting tag team match, then again, it takes a real idiot to have a bad six man tag team match.

Bobby Roode defeated James Storm to retain the TNA World Championship.

Like the good triumphant babyface that he is, James Storm struggles to the ring, bleeding and battered, but he refuses to give up. Roode checks on his ex-friend and then asks if the match was stopped. Then he rolls up Storm for the pin. Masterful.

AJ Styles is not happy with what Roode did and wants a title match. Sting makes it happen. Bobby Roode vs. AJ Styles for TNA Championship for Turning Point is announced for the television audience at the last minute, quite literally, as the show goes off the air.

Why You Should Watch TNA Wrestling Impact 11/10/11

The six man tag team match with Immortal vs. former Immortal was a great encounter, Knockout’s Tag Match was pretty decent, and Styles vs. Daniels was the usual good bit of fun.
