Here my top 5 best year of women’s division

1. 2003

> This was the best year for WWE divas division, we saw several gimmick matches this year such as Chicago street fight, Triple threat hardcore rules match, battle of the sexes and steel cage match. 2003 was also marked by two returning divas from injuries, Jazz and Lita, and also we saw Gail Kim made her WWE RAW debut. this year we also see Trish and Jazz re-build their feud from last year, culminated ina 3 way match at WrestleMania XIX with Trish set record as 4 times women’s champion in early 2003 till mid 2003 was the peak of women’s division. all women included Ivory and Jacqueline were given a nice push, but when Lita returned the storylines seemed boring. most matches were tag team matches

2. 2006

> This was the second best year for WWE divas. we saw new faces and old faces retired. in early 2006 we were shown the famous feud between Mickie James and then WWE Women’s champion Trish. their feud culminated at WrestleMania 22 where Mickie ended Trish Strartus’ 15 months title reign. in mid of 2006 we saw both Lita and Trish retired, leaving a new era for WWE women’s division. this year also we saw women’s championship was vacated after Trish had won it at Unforgiven set her record as the first and the only 7 times women’s champion

3. 2007

> The new era of WWE Women’s division after they had loss their two icon Trish and Lita last year due to retirement. this year we saw Melina and Candice rose to the top bar of women’s division. Melina became two times women’s champion this year . Candice also became the first diva search contestant to be the women’s champion. this year there was also several gimmick matches such as falls count anywhere between Melina and Mickie James, and Pudding match between Candice and Melina. in Mid of 2007 we saw the return of Beth Phoenix who later became the women’s champion on October and bad thing happened on October too when Candice injured her cavicle in 2 out 3 falls match with Beth Phoenix

4. 2002

> A year after WWE bought WCW / ECW. we saw a first ever WWE brand extension. this year marked the beginning of Trish’s big push. she had collected women’s title three times this year. this year we were given several gimmick matches such as Mixed tag team hardcore match, intergender matches, intergender tag team table match and of course first lady hardcore match between Trish and Victoria

5. 2004

> In early 2004 Victoria turned face to feud with then champion Molly Holly, in February we saw Molly’s 7 months title reign came to an end at the hand of Victoria which had led into hair vs title match at WrestleMania XX. at WrestleMania also Trish turned into dark side when she alligned herself with Christian. this year also we had Lita involved in a storyline with Kane and Matt Hardy. on June 13th BAD BLOOD PPV Trish broke another yet record as the first ever 5 times champion. Lita and Trish feud were also heaten up when Trish mocked Lita during her storyline with Kane. their feud got hotter at Survivor Series PPV where Lita broke Trish’s nose and this was last year we saw Women’ title being defended on RAW’s main event with Lita regain the women’s championship after 4 years long awaiting. bad things in this year was Jazz, Nidia, Gail Kim were released due to budget cut and new direction from WWE management
