While its good to see that the WWE is giving Regal a push it is really hard to see where this thing is headed.

With his new movie all but in the can, John Cena came out just in time came out just in the nick of time to stop Regal from throwing out Nickie James Brother and his girl friend . After a few shots back and forth , Regal puts him in a match with Orton and Cena suspects that JBL is waiting in the wings but Regal assures him that JBL isn’t even in the building. As Regal leaves and walks up the ramp , Lilian treats the Detroit crowd with a little bit of “Respect”.

As the show came back from commercial , the familiar blare of bag pipes rang out as the “Hot Rod” Rowdy Roddy piper slowly made his way to ringside and planted himself in the time keepers chair. The challengers for the WWE Tag team came out and throwing a lot of heat pipers way, got ready for their title match against the most mismatched team in the WWE in Quite a long time. I don’t want to say that Cody Rhodes isn’t ready for the big time, but the whole tag team situation is totally whack with this tag team and the other one that is tag team champs on one show but works on another.

To make a long story short, Piper distracted Santino and the champs retain their title. Piper climbs in and celebrates with hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes.

The next match was basically filler to burn up a little time. Kennedy was put into a match against a very overweight looking Snitzky . I keep reading about some sort of push for Ken Kennedy but given his attitude since he’s bee in the WWE, its going to be a real tough sell. Of course Kennedy won but I don’t see anything good coming from this any time soon

After some backstage grief involving piper and Santino,it was time for the Diva’s. in a tag match involving the women’s champ and her partner, playboy cover girl Maria going up against former women’s champ Melina and her partner, the Glamazon Beth Phoenix . The one thing that needs to be said right this moment ,while the WWE divas are clearly some of the best looking women on network T.V., the TNA knockout division clearly puts on the better show. The Knockouts have little fear about how it makes them look on T.V. one of the most impressive female specimens that the WWE has had since Chyna , Ends up walking out on her partner and setting up a women’s three way for judgment day.

In an attempt to figure out whether HBK “s Knee is actually hurt. Y2J brought him out and tried to suck him into false sense of security by telling him that after last week he believes that he is really injured. After an exchange in which Jericho just doesn”t know when to shut the hell up, the whole encounter ends up with HBK’s foot upside Y2J’s skull.

Jeff Hardy ,fresh off his sixty day suspension for violation of the WWE wellness policy, came out to new music and to a lot of pop from the crowd.. He was giving his mea culpa speech to the fans when his mic was cut off . Regal sent the Samoan Bulldozer in after Hardy but Hardy cut him off at the corner with a sliding drop kick. Hardy then flies out of the ring and into Umaga’s arms and then into the security barrier. Hardy gets trapped in the corner but Umaga misses and Hardy hit’s the whisper in the wind for the 123.… While its clear the rainbow haired has a way to go to get back to where he was before he was suspended , its also clear to this fan that he has a very powerful loyal fan following that are going to want to see him in the mix.

In one of the few good moves for the tag team division in a long time , a few weeks ago Cryme Tyme was plucked from indy circuit obscurity and given knew life back on raw. Monday night they locked horns with former champs Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch who have had their troubles of late. Mainly Murdoch’s singing and the ambition of Cade’s singles career. All of this came to a head after Murdoch caught JTGin a bad sunset flip for the win. After the ring was cleared , Murdoch grabbed the mic and started to butcher a Kenny Rogers song until his partner dropped him with a couple of shots to the face.

And now the main event, Cena versus Orton with Orton hitting the ring first . They went toe to toe in the ring through the commercial break when Regal appeared with JBL in a ref shirt. Regal claims that the ref is not right and made JBL the ref. Cena got stuck when he fell with Orton in the FU and JBL made a quick 123…

Orton and JBL quickly jump on Cena until HHH comes out after Orton . JBL and Cena go to the floor and the cage lowers down around the ring with Orton and HHH. Orton sends HHH into the cage but gets nailed with a spine buster on the rebound. Orton slides out of the cage just before it hit’s the ring apron. HHH climbed on the cage staring down Orton as the show fades out.
