Been away for a while. Working on getting a few things up on other sites. Thought I should get back to the main Blog. RAW TV ratings are still in the tank despite a good follow up to Cyber Sunday. Batista is the new champ and the whole show was mainly a two hour commercial for the three hour show next Monday that celebrates their 800thepisode . Some of the best highlights of Monday where Rey Mysterio against Evan Bourne . Twenty four hours earlier Bourne pushed ECW champ Matt Hardy to the limit and earned a lot of credit with the fans. The down side is that on Tuesday Bourne tweaked his ankle bad enough that he is out for a little while .

In a sign that maybe the WWE is finally going to give the tag team division some prime TV time, CM Punk and Kofi Kingston took the world championship belts from Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. . this coupled with the Colon Brothers on Smack Down and the fact that they are Hyping the Miz and John Morrison against DX next Monday night. Thank god that they are starting to figure out that some good tag team feuds would be a great way to fill out time on their shows and make things a little more interesting . Its been way to long that both sets of belts have been relegated to the back burner. They certainly have enough people to put together some tag teams.

On TNA this week, the Main Event Mafia got a big shot in the arm with the return of Big Papa Pump Rick Steiner this pat Tuesday. The MEM was getting their Asses handed to them by all the TNA veterans when the genetic freak came in armed with a lead pipe and cleared the ring. I’m reserving judgment on this whole story line until it plays out a little longer to see how they are going to flesh it out. On problem I can see right away is that if sting is going to retire soon, I can’t see him going out as a heel. And then there is the Foley factor in all of this. I see why they want Mick out front but I still say that he needs to bee involved with Abyss . Abyss has been doing Mankind 3.0 for most of his TNA career and since all the masked guys are members of the

“Prince Justice” Brotherhood and sense Abyss was once known as Prince Justice when he was coming up, on would think that maybe some where done the line, the monster is going to develop a new persona. Who better to help him with pulling that one off then the three faces of Foley.

With Orton and Cena set to return soon, Raw will be back to full strength soon enough. They have been plugging Cena to be back for Survivor Series and I cant imagine that Orton won’t be there either. Its unclear how many actual Survivor Series matches they will have but I can see one right off the bat. Rhodes and Dibase and the miz and Morrison vs. the Colons And Kingston and Punk. That won would go a long way toward pumping up the tag teams.

On the lighter side of the squared circle , Funaki is getting the biggest push of his life by changing his name to “Kung Fu Naki” and dressing him in in a Gi. He had a tag match with R Truth and got the win against MVP. I don’t know how long they are going to stick with this but Ricky Steamboat is working with him to hone his skills. And in the further adventures of Charlie Haas, Santino came out Monday and faced the Glama Haus . The match itself wasn’t any thing to rave about but when the guest commentators , Piper, Gold dust , and the Honkey Tonk Man, cut him off and hit him with the guitar, that was a fitting end.

And finally , the prince and princess of the evil empire will be on Raw next Monday under the guise of deciding Mike Adamlie’s fate as Raw’s GM. I do remember some months ago that he was told to get into shape for his in ring debut so I’m guessing that he and Shane are going to throw down soon. I never understood Adamlies whole presence in this whole scence but him as GM was working . I don’t know that one of Shane’s extreme fests may not be a real good idea. Adamlie was a Pro Football player and I’m sure he can handle himself . But if he does get hurt that might make Mister Ebersole from NBC a little upset and I don’t think that Vince wants that.
