News breaking all over the net . It seems that TNA has finally made its move and signed the Immortal Hulk Hogan to deal. In a big press conference at Madison Square Gardens today, Hogan , out on a book tour pushing his new book , was flanked by his usual entourage and introduced to the press by his friend , former WCW head Eric Bischoff , who’s company brokered this deal, took mainly soft balls from the press. It appears that his signing will mainly be about him as personality and not necessarily a wrestler for the company .

First of all , Bischoff’s presence at this scene pretty much says that he will be involved in the deal as well . There is an old saying that those he don’t remember the past are doomed to repeat it. This is either a brilliant move on the part of miss Dixie or this is WCW All over again . Well one things for sure , they don’t have Ted Turner’s pockets to prop themselves up with. Hogan’s health is an issue so he wont be doing any real wrestling. And there is the whole thing about how things ended min WCW so most every one on the other side of this are going to waiting for it to fail.

On the other hand , TNA has been quietly positioning itself for a move like this . The house cleaning they had with the whole Jarrett Karen Angle thing. They have resigned a number of key people and they have a commitment from spike TV to expand the brand on their network . As long as they don’t screw this up they could really take a bite out of the Evil Empire’s Ass. The problem is they like the WWE aren’t developing young talent fast enough.

Aside from AJ Styles , who you could hardly call young , TNA hasn’t pushed any young talent up to the top of the heap . They had Joe going for awhile but they changed his gimmick around and nearly buried him. Dumped People like Petey Williams , Sonjay Dutt , and Lo Ki , who a lot of people think is one of the best in ring performers to come down the pipe in a long time. They have a lot of older veteran names that are positioned as main event guys that really need to start getting some of the young guys over more like sting has been doing for AJ. They also have a few veteran malcontents and others that need to worry more about their heath then getting in the ring every week. Kurt Angle in my opinion is dangerously close to Benoit land with all of his personal problems making it into the media. And what of Double J, Unless the part that Hogan and Bischoff bought into they bought from Jeff , He is still player in this little psychodrama .

The point is , with the hit or miss lame product that the WWE has been shoving down our throats , which has the same four or five wrestlers rotating in and out like a lazy Susan , the time is right , the compation is ripe for the pickin’s , and if every thing I here is true and they pull Flair in as well, it’s at least going to give Vince a few sleepless nights.

surprise surprise yet another ex member of WWE/WCW joining TNA lol even taz (ex commentator of WWE) has taken a job at TNA as Don Wests replacement as commentator and for those that read my forum post it seems no coincidence that after some negative replies about weither or not the WWE should bring back female tag titles that TNA 1st chance they get created the Knockout tag titles and its also no coincidence that it just so happens that pretty much all the wrestlers of any importance on TNA are ex WWE/WCW i mean come on even the guy in charge is Mick Foley how much more proof do you want that TNA is a very well planted seed that WWE is just waiting for it to mature enough to do exactly the same thing as they did with WCW/ECW and im sure if you look even deeper you will find even more proof that supports my theory and when not if TNA finaly become yet another brand of WWE the whole process will hopefully inject a whole new life and story lines to both brands this merger will of course be even easier especially with already well known ex WWE/WCW superstars who are currently in TNA to make their big return to WWE both brands do seem to be slowly trying to introduce new talent WWE mainly doing this through their brand ECW with their new superstar initiative and i believe that when the time is right this merger will happen so remember this post when it does :)
    thanx for reading
