Well, the big deal this past Monday , the big ratings grabbing move was “selling” Raw to Donald Trump. Pardon me while I yawn for a second. Flair was at the show with his son David , but no word on who the new GM is. This is not good people , especially if this is some sort of ratings ploy for the “Apprentice” which I’m really starting to think it is. Trump does not do all that well in front of a live audience , the crowd reaction was Luke warm at best , and given that this cant go on for any great length of time , how are they going to switch it back.

Based on what happened Tuesday night , they are dusting off the Scramble match to settle the ECW title situation . Finlay made his point of rather forcefully one he whacked three of his four foes in the head with the Shillelagh. It seems that since he made the mistake a couple weeks ago of trying to break up Dreamer and Christian and got his eye injury for his trouble , he’s been on a mission of an eye for an eye. Since he was the only one standing in the ring I think he made his point.

In the ever elusive search for new feuds and programs, apparently the May 30th live Main event in Mexico City between Orton and Rey Mysterio was off the Hook like no other match this year. Lets just hope the creative guys take a good look at this and try to put these two in a main event some time soon . This is the kind of thing that will get your people watching your show. More south of the border news , it seems that once again , the WWE has signed Lucha Libre star Don Caras Jr to a contract . By my count this is at least the third time I have heard this one only to find out later that it wasn’t true or that the deal fell through. Well its being reported now that he will retain the rights to his name but the company will license it . This may have been the sticking point that kept him from signing earlier in the year.

In the will he or won the department , CM Punk and the supposed Heel turn is being played very close to the vest right now for obvious reasons. Jeff Hardy may be taking some extended time off. Punk is still pretty popular but against Hardy he never be the Baby face . The announcers are also staying on the fence also, and the word is a lot of how it will be played will be decided by how well their match goes at the PPV . If there is a Heel turn by Punk , he will have to do something more obvious to get the Heel tag put on him .

While I wont say I ‘m sorry she’s gone, mainly because it had run it’s course, lets all give a big shout out to Vicki G. Someone who at the time was going through one of the worst times that anyone could ever go through , she got put into an impossible situation with no training at all and grew into one of the best non wrestling Heels to ever come around. When all is said and done, she drew Vince like Heat on a weekly basis and was a major reason for Edge being the Heel that he is. All this being said , I to like A lot of people thought they may have gone a little to far on her last night . I hope she takes a long break and doesn’t have to come back for any reasons at all.

And finally , what was reported earlier this week as a stroke that Gerry Briscoe may have something else entirely . His face swelled up like it may have been a allergic reaction to food or Medication but it turns out that he had a tiny hole in his heart that was repaired earlier this week. Jr on his blog said he’s been in contact with Briscoe and thinks that he should recover fully. Given the loss of Misawa in the ring in Japan , this is the best news that could have happen.
