Right out of the chute . It was reported today that painkillers and steroids where found in Andrew “Test “ Martin’s apartment. It has also been reported that he was apparently having dinner because of a half eaten pizza found also. I hate to say it but this isn’t going to turn out very well for anyone . Even if the cause of death turns out to be totally natural the stigma of what Test did and how he may have kept himself going is already out there. And of course , the WWE has been doing a subtle dance around the whole thing, not doing the five bells thing at the start of Mondays Raw and rumored to have pulled the announcement that the Von Erich’s are going into the Hall Of Fame. I realize that with all of the A Rod stuff, the WWE was kinda on the backburner as far as Steroids goes, well Vince suck it up. This isn’t your fault and don’t let affect your decision making .

Staying on Vince , he apparently had a meltdown backstage when the Smack Down ratings for last week came in. The Smack Down Ratings have leveled off and have been dropping in recent weeks and the entire creative and backstage staff has had to bare the brunt of Vince’s wrath. Well the thing that bothers me the most about this , if your going to bitch about internet leaks , why the hell are you taping SD shows two weeks in advance . When you do these double tapings , they are bound to get out on the Net and then your ruined on the second week. This along with the fact that your creative people are probably scared sh##less of you right now doesn’t lend itself to the creative process.

A spoiler of sorts came out on the net today. I guess that Edge is wanting to take some time off because of “Nagging Injuries” and probably will be right after WM25. Well you know, may be they rushed him back to quick because they have no faith in a two time loser like Jeff Hardy that gets the biggest pop out of the crowd every where he goes. This is a situation of their own making . In their Eyes Jeff Hardy is a huge risk that’s best purpose is to serve as a Head on A stick warning to the rest of roster that if you screw up, your dead meat. the Hardy vs. Hardy feud to me is a thing that while in the short term might generate a lot of interest in the long term just cuts into your fan base and fragments it. The Hardy boys are a part of WWE history, and when you cheapen that history by splitting them up and not once but twice officially , you get what you pay for.

There was A PPV this past Sunday . TNA had its annual gimmick match for the X division title that was one of the two good matches on the entire show. Its been reported that Consequences Creed suffered a concussion Sunday night that was bad enough to where he didn’t remember the whole ultimate X match. Hope his head clears up soon. They have it set for a match between Sting and Mick Foley at the next PPV and I cringe at the thought of Foley getting back in the ring yet again, especially since he almost broke his leg a few months ago .

In an interesting move that might be a prelude to something big, ECW is going to be an all Diva show next week. This could be a colossal mistake or something that could alter the programming on TV for the better. An all girl show is a good idea but for it to work once again we go back the cookie cutter image of the Diva’s has to change. The need to go out and invest in an awesome Kong like woman, find a female body builder, find some exotic dark-skinned beauty from another country and not have a situation like the two Barbie dolls on Smack Down. The upside would tremendous but creative has to make it work.
