Mysterio Suspended.

WWE making an example or putting on a show?

As of September 2nd, Professional wrestler Rey Mysterio was suspended from action with World Wrestling Entertainment. My question to the people in charge at WWE is, Is his suspension making an example or just putting on a masquerade. It has been proven in the time that the wellness policy, that the immensely popular wrestling company has implemented since 2006. Has been the brunt of many wrestling critics jokes in the past few years. When another very popular superstar was suspended shortly after the installment of the policy. They returned shortly after maintaining their main event status, will this be what happens to Mysterio? Will he be gone half of his suspension and then return still a main-eventer. I really hope not, I say this because I feel that their needs to be repercussions to what these publicly viewed stars do. Mysterio should not be allowed to come back and hold titles right away. This is an important issue, if WWE allows stars who choose to use performance enhancers or use drugs that affect judgement be stars. It may lead to another disaster in the wrestling world. I am reminded of the Chris Benoit incident, when he went through what is called “roid rage” and killed his entire family. I am not trying to say it will be Mysterio who does this. Another superstar who is allowed to do what they want, then only to hold a title months later. If there are not any measures taken to stop the furthering of this issue. We just may see the next tragedy is professional wrestling. Hopefully, WWE will see what they need to do and when Mysterio comes back. There will be a noticeable punishment and he will not be allowed to pursue a title at least til WWE knows that he is a clean.
