At WWE Vengeance 2011, Mark Henry and the Big Show competed in a match where the ring was destroyed with a superplex. The match as a result of the destruction of the wrestling ring was rendered a no contest. Yet this would not be the first time that the ring would collapse throughout the entire history of wrestling. There have been many cases of ring destruction in wrestling and oddly, many of them involve the Big Show himself. Here are five more times that the wrestling ring had been destroyed.

Brock Lesnar superplexes The Big Show through the ring.

The Brock Lesnar and Big Show feud had some memorable encounters. None however would be more memorable than the night the Big Show had been superplexed right off of the top rope through the ring by Brock Lesnar. It was an amazing moment that had been burned through the minds of the WWE Universe for years to come.

The Big Show choke slams John Bradshaw Layfield off of the cage through the ring.

No Way Out 2005, The Big Show tried to retain the WWE Championship that he had held twice previously against JBL and rocketed him right through the ring with a killer choke slam. This bounced JBL through the ring to the concrete floor, which technically was outside of the cage. As per the cage escape rules, once JBL had dragged himself out from underneath the ring, he had won the match.

The Big Show choke slams the Undertaker through the ring.

On Raw in 1999, the Big Show and the Undertaker had been having their share of run ins over the past couple of weeks. It all boiled over into a match where the Big Show bounced the Undertaker right through the ring with a massive choke slam on RAW.

Abyss choke slams AJ Styles through the ring.

At TNA Destination X 2010, Abyss stepped into the ring with the power of Hulk Hogan’s WWE Hall of Fame ring and that increased his strength by tenfold. Sadly joining the Hulk Lantern Corps might have been not what the doctor ordered, as his super strength allowed him to put AJ Styles right through the ring.

Bam Bam Bigelow puts Taz right through the ring.

At Living Dangerously 1998 in ECW, Taz and Bam Bam Bigelow had a fantastic brawl for the ECW Television Championship, with Taz trying to use his Tazmission to put down the Beast from the East. In the end, Bigelow falls back and puts Taz right through the ring.

There you have it, five cases of wrestling ring failure.
