Rafael Nadal Talks Marriage

Rafael Nadal today revealed he believes he is too young to marry, stating “I have not thought about this, right now my main focus is on tennis. I’m only 23″. Nadal has been dating a fellow Mallorcan by the name of Xisca Perello, a business studies student, for the past 4 years.

Their families were friends and Xisca is close to Nadal’s sister Maribel. Since their relationship began they have tried to keep it out of the spotlight, shunning celebrity events in favour of low key activities such as fishing trips in their native Mallorca. However Xisca was recently on hand to support Nadal during his comeback from a knee injury that sidelined him during Wimbledon.

Recently rumours that Nadal was planning a propose during a vacation in Thailand spread throughout his fan-sites. No doubt his statement today has soothed many broken hearts.

Today Nadal will face Marat Safin the the China Open Quarter-Finals. The two men have played just once before.
