Maria Sharapova Won Roland Garros for The First Time

He beat Italy’s Sara Errani 6-3, 6-2.
Russian third win in Paris after Anastasia Myskina (2004) and Kuznetsova (2009).
Tenth player who manages the four Grand Slam titles.

Russian Maria Sharapova won for the first time in his career Roland Garros tournament by winning the final against Italy’s Sara Errani, 6-3, 6-2.

This is the Title 27 of Sharapova, the third this year after RomaSharapova Stuttgart and thus becomes the third Russian to win in Paris after Anastasia Myskina and Svetlana Kuznetsova in 2004 in 2009.

The Siberian shattered the dream of a disciple of Paul Lozano Spanish in 89 minutes, and the third time. The Italian, who left the game with protective strips on the right thigh, dropped serve five times, and gave the best of herself in the end, when he saved two match points, one with a superb left.

Although rallied from a 4-0 start, and saved two balls set in the first set Errani could not stop Maria to take him to the third time in 36 minutes.

Today was the fourth title of Grand Slam (Wimbledon 2004, U.S. Open 2006 and Open Australia 2008), which completes the crown, becoming the tenth player to make it.
