Going into the show, tennis star Martina Navratilova, 55, was at the bottom of the pack with a score of 37 points. Most of you said she should go home.

On the leaderboard above her were: Melissa Gilbert with 40, Gavin DeGraw with 41, Gladys Knight with 42 and Jack Wagner with 44.

Melissa Gilbert and Gladys Knight talked about how much fun they had despite the low scores. And they’ll be back for more. Hosts Brooke Burke-Charvet and Tom Bergeron told them at the top of the show they were safe.

Martina, however, was in jeopardy.

Sugarland and Matt Nathanson sang their hit, Run.

William Levy and Jaleel White were told they were safe; Roshon Fegan was told he’s in jeopardy, much to the dismay and grumbling of the audience.

Spotted in the crowd: Katie Couric, Kyle Massey, Lacey Schwimmer and Sabrina Bryan, who appeared on Season 5 of Dancing With the Stars. Bergeron joked that Katie “keeps grabbing my butt. She’s worse than Maks!”

The stars all talked about how they didn’t want to be the first to exit. Melissa said she had “so much more to prove to myself.” And William said he hadn’t even “gone topless” yet! Maria Menounos dismissed the problem of two broken ribs, saying, “I’m great! Like I told Derek, ‘We’re strong!’ We can do this.” Added Sherri Shepherd, “You’re going to have to get a restraining order to make me go.”

Maria, Sherri and Katherine Jenkins were all told they were safe.

Sugarland performed Find the Beat Again.

Donald Driver and Jack Wagner were told they were safe. Gavin was told he was in jeopardy and the crowd moaned a little.

It came down to Martina, Roshon and Gavin.

And Martina was told she was leaving. Gavin told her, “It was an honor to be on this stage with you.”

Said Martina before dancing her last dance: “It was an amazing experience. I wish it had lasted longer.”

Next week: Each star will have to tell a story in dance.
