Andy Roddick has thwarted Andy Murray’s dream to be the first British man to reign champion at the All England Club since Fred Perry in 1936. Roddick beats Murray 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7), 7-6 (5).
Roddick will then face the five-time titleholder Roger Federer in Sunday’s final. Federer has advanced earlier by winning against Tommy Haas 7-6 (3), 7-5, 6-3.
The two players have faced each other in the 2004 and 2005 Wimbledon finals; with Federer winning both years.
