Due to me having to attend a press conference for the new "Die Hard" movie, I had to miss my training session with Team to End AIDS. But after the conference was over, I went out to the gym to do my eight mile recovery run.

This time, we ran 17 miles. While our bodies ended up paying a price for that, we are getting closer and closer to fulfilling the promises we made to ourselves that we will run this year’s Los Angeles Marathon.

After running the equivalent of a half-marathon the week before, this week had us doing a recovery run of seven miles so our leg muscles could recover.

This week of training has us running 14 miles, and that’s the equivalent of a half-marathon. It marked a celebration for many Team to End AIDS runners as this is now the farthest they have ever run in their lives.
