Sometimes sports can be an area where people excel, for example, Jackie Robinson and Muhammad Ali contributed to baseball and boxing which helped bring to light the inequality of segregation in America. “Remember the Titans” continues the struggle of racism in T.C. Williams High School. As a result of the merge of T.C. Williams High School there is initially nonacceptance and racism. The whites are unhappy about the blacks moving in and “taking over” while the blacks are ungrateful for the change as well and everyone views everything externally. Eventually it changes to acceptance because the team gets to know each other, which leads to other parts in the town integrating the way they should have from the start.
