Not exactly the world’s deepest swimming pool , the deepest being san alfanso del mar, but it is the deepest indoor swimming pool. This pool is Nemo 33 , is the deepest indoor swimming pool in the world located in Brussels, Belgium. It has a maximum depth of 34.5m at its deepest point (oops!!! just missed the deepest pool title , san alfanco del mar, world’s deepet swimming pool, is 35m deep). It contains 2.5 million liters of water. The water is highly filtered spring water, non chlorinated and maintained at 30 degree celcius.

Nemo 33 is the brain child of Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts. It was designed for diving instruction cum recreational purposes. It was also meant to be for film shooting purposes. That is why it has underwater caves at a deapth of 10 meters. That is why nemo 33 is one of the top pools in the world.

Scuba divers must present their certification cards upon entry to experience this unique swimming experience. It costs 22 euros a day to swim through this artificial sea. Once inside this pool offers you a real sea like experience without the fear of any sharks or being lost. The divers are constantly monitored, so there is no chance of being lost or drowned in this pool. This makes it in the top list of most secured pools in the world.

If you do not feel to swim in this magnificent pool then there is also a resturant complete with bar , from where you can see divers swimming. Thus the nemo 33 provides a one of a kind experience to its visitors.
