Surfing on Plengkung Beach (Second Best Waves, After Hawaii)
If you can not go to the Hawaii Island, you should go to the area in East Java Province. Plengkung beach can be an alternative for those of you, lovers of surfing. The waves there is the second best beach after hawaii beach.

Located in the District Plengkung Banyuwangi, East Java. This beach is already well known by surfers because the waves are quite large. When these waves on the beach Plengkung be second best after the waves in Hawaii.
In this beach as well surfing competition ever held an international level, followed by 12 teams from eight countries and surfers known as the “Banyuwangi G-Land International Team Challenge”. Countries that follow this race, among others, Australia, France, America, Britain, New Zealand, and of course Indonesia.
Plengkung beach can be reached through the City of Banyuwangi towards Muncar or continue towards Market Benculuk Anyar through Dlimo Tegal. Then you can drive 10 km to the main door of the National Parks Rowobendo.Selanjutnya Pancur you will see a branching path to get to Sadengan, Ngagel beach or continue to Plengkung.
From Pancur to Plengkung distance of about 6 kms, although that is still a new asphalt road while this may only be achieved in three ways, those are by 2 hour walking, by riding bike trail along jagawananya TNAP, or using special transport pick-up who managed TNAP. This is because private vehicles may only park in the Pos Pancur.
