One of the most bizzare sports is called zorbing. To play this extreme sport you start off in a ball which could fit a human in and you roll throw yourself down a hill in the ball. This sport started in New Zealand in 2000. The mastermind behind the invention of Zorbing was Andrew Akers. You could Zorb in two way, be harnessed to in the ball or hydro-zorb. Hydrozorbing is when you zorb in the ball with a small amount of water to slide around in. Surprisingly, no-one has gone sick or thrown up in a zorb ball. This crazy and adrenaline pumping sport will spread throughout the whole world rapidly because of its fun. Everyone who’s about to experience would be either pumped or scared. Don’t be afraid, after you have done you would want to do it more because of the excitement. This is not as scary as bungee jumping but it is still equally as fun. If you think you will smash into the ball inside don’t be afraid, its only made of plastic which is soft. Zorbing has gone to America which they now call in America Sphering because of the ball shaped liked a sphere. There has only been one accident in the history of Zorbing, a woman injured her back while zorbing down a hill. Zorbing has already started in America, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Scotland, England, Sweden, Estonia, Canada, Czech Republic and Slovenia. The popularity has already been spread!

I just want to let u know that they already have ZORBING here in the Philippines. They have it in Boracay Island. The price starts at Php.380 they have a (harness zorb) and (hydro Zorb) I can tell that the hydro zord is alot of fun than the harness but they’re both really fun and exciting. The name of the company that has the Zorbing in Boracay is MYSTERY SPOT FUN PARK it is located in Yapak, Ilig Iligan, Boracay Island.
A teacher has died and a pupil has been seriously injured in the Czech Republic while trying zorbing. It’s really horrible.
i tried it last week…it was the most exciting and memorable thing i did in bora!i’ve tried both hydro and harnessed zorbing…the latter…can make you go crazy…i wanna do it again…as in again…love it..how i wish it will also be available here in davao!
Ella, the Zorb park (near Crocodile Park) in Davao opened last December 26, 2009! I just tried zorbing yesterday and it’s fun. It’s scary at first but once you are inside the Zorb, you’ll love it!
I heard they’ll build a steeper ramp to make the fall more exciting. Plans are also underway for the HydroZorb.
