Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate

is being studied because in all likelihood has a chance of being banned at the Olympics.

can be a banned substance in future Olympics if the studies keep showing what they are showing.
One reason it might be banned is that it might help lower chance of muscle tiredness. In boxing, for example, it improves how many times a boxer can throw a punch in a boxing max by 5%.

Consuming baking soda in the 200 meter races can take major time off the amount of time it takes a person to finish the race.

And for the 800 meters in running in the Olympics it is shown times are improved with baking soda.

In the Journal of International Society of Sports Nutrition shows a tennis player can be stopped from getting worse in the game from so much effort.

If you are just playing a sports with friends and it is not a league or group that keeps tracks of wins and losses then use 1 Tablespoon baking sida in a glass of water or clear drink.

LOL!
Uh-oh..baking soda? We’ll need prescription when baking..(?)
Great article pattiann. Great presentation and pictures.
Lol. Just now they will ban fruits, grains, nuts and vegetables as they make athletes healthy and capable of doing better in races.
good share.
Good job
This could be good for the French, there full of hot air!!!!!!!!!!
Meddles they couldn’t hit the peddles.
Wow baking soda! It is also good for stomach problems and to brush teeth. It deodorizes refrigerators, and of course is used in many recipes and in many other things. What if it were put on a list of “no-nos.”

What can possibly be next? I play tennis 3 times a week and this truly seems like a stretch…lol
Love your article and colorful images! Thanks for sharing. And it’s amusing!
Amazing. Olympics committee idiocy aside, I wonder what’s the basis in physiology. I’m afraid I sat through lectures on the role of the bicarbonate ion in the blood buffering system and forgot it all after the test.
Makes you wonder what will be next….Enjoyed your article, thanks for sharing:)
