Are you one of those people out there looking to by a new badminton racquet? The first thing that I will tall you is after reading this read other articles as well to see which one you prefer. The downside I they all go along the same line as this” It doesn’t matter what it is but if you feel comfortable with it, then it’s the one for you” or “get the ones you like, it doesn’t matter what other people think’”.
I would normal give you this kind of philosophy but they have all been taken. So I have nowhere to go but to give you some solid advice.
- Do not by from the web unless you are sure that the website is trusted and you know about their products.
- Never but of eBay, this is why. Either they are made badly so it’s cheap or it is on the verge of being broken.
- Make sure you have researched the well know brands like Yonex or Carlton.
- It would be best if you can test out the racquet there and then, to make sure you are comfortable with it.
- It is generally true that the more expensive it is the higher the price so be ready to pay. A decent one would be around 90 dollars or 30 pounds.
- Lighter ones are better for defensive players and a heavy head is for more aggressive players and they are harder to break. Not that all racquets are hard to break.
- Last bit if you are really desperate the go to you’re local car boots sale and look around but I won’t promise quality.
