parkour

parkour : getting from point A to point B using the environment to get there as fast and as fluently as possible. i guess you can call parkour a race weather its against your self or against a friend or anything else. you have very surely seen people parkour even though you didn’t know what it was officiallycalled. parkour would be getting from you house to the mall. I’m sure if you have a life you do it allot. instead of walking around buildings or benches or fences why not go over it?

of course your probably thinking that is ridicules but who will get there first? now even though girls aren’t commonly found parkour because its “physical” (great excuse girls -.-) some DO parkour now let me put it like this… there’s a sale at the mall you wanted a purse or a phone or w/e. there was only one left and you could never afford it before and you want to get it now that its on sale then there’s someone you hate since pre.k and they also want it they parkour and you don’t. while your walking/running they’re parkouring your run around the fence they go over it they’re ahead by 10 feet then theres a super market you walk around they scale the wall and get over it. you need to walk all the way around. etc.

basically you’ll be skewed of course this isn’t why you should be parkouring parkour is what i call a lifestyle if your actually into it then you cant stop doing it.

free-running

free runningis almost the same thing but you have flips. its not a mater of getting to a certainlocation its just expressing your self with you body and with the area around you. people do show off once they’ve become good at the flips  and tricks but that’s not what its about i find free-running to be an art. not many can draw not many can free run free-running takes allot of guts every one is scared of doing a back flip for the first time. i almost pissed my self in the middle of it. i was shaking like crazy, but i made it. Ive bin parkouring for around 5 months. it take a long time to get good at parkour/free-running i believe i am “OK” at free running Ive made allot of progress in just 5 months others aren’t as lucky of course the  key is to keep practicing. right now its freezingoutside and me and my friends “”the crew”" where just free-running. most people just think omg you can flip! :D D

that’s not the point though.

parkour and free running has bin around forever. it was just lately that they gave it a name. that’s all.

the two people that gave parkour a name was david belle and Sebastien foucan. i do believe they’re BOTH french

these two are my point of view of the best.
