Skiing: Slalom – Wengen (Switzerland): Ivica Kostelic (Croatia) Has Won The Race

After winning in the Super-Combined, Ivica Kostelic has won slalom in Wengen.

  Ivica Kostelic is the winner of the slalom race in Wengen. The first slalom run Ivica Kostelic finished on third position with three hundredths of a second after the first Mario Matt from Austria. However, second slalom run Ivica Kostelic has drove awesome and he has won the race. Second place went to Andre Myhrer from Sweden with 85 hundredths of a second behind, and third place went to Fritz Dopfer from Germany with 88 hundredths of a second behind.

  This is a 22. win in career of Ivica Kostelic and third victory in row in Wengen. Three consecutive victories in Wengen has won only legendary skier Ingemar Stenmark (1974,1975,1976). But for Ivica Kostelic, this is fourth victory in career in the slalom in Wengen (2002,2010,2011,2012) and he have total of six victories and a total of ten podiums in Wengen, and that way he holds the absolute record. The impressive results. Congratulations.
