Olympic Games in London: Croatian Handball Team Has Won The Bronze Medal
After great matches throughout the competition, the Croatian handball team were biggest favorite for the gold medal, however, they have won bronze medal, but that is also great success.

Croatian handball team has won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in London. It should be remembered that the Croatian handball team were absolutely biggest favorite to win gold medal in handball after all victories in a very tough group.
In the first match Croatian handball team has won against very good team from South Korea.
29.07. Croatia – South Korea – 31:21
In the second match, Croatian national team has won against handball team from Serbia. We have proved that our defeat at the European Championship was caused by a number of pressures because of their organization of championship, and because of poor organization and incredible attacks of their hooligans on Croatian fans.

The third game was a tough game against a very strong team of Hungary. However, Croatia has won this match relativly easy.
02.08. Croatia – Hungary – 26:19
The fourth qualification match was a very important game against a very strong representation of Denmark. Croatia has won this match extremely easy and with this game we have shown to all that we wish gold medal at the Olympic Games.
04.08. Croatia – Denmark – 32:21
The fifth match was for first place in the group, against Spanish handball team which plays very fast and a very nice handball. However, Croatian national team has turned result in the second half and won that match.
06.08. Croatia – Spain – 30:25
Croatia has finished group in first place with five wins and with incredible +41 goals. That is incredible result in such strong group.
Quarterfinals: Croatia has played against Tunisia and it was a very tough match. Croatian team has won that match. It should be noted that Tunisian team played very rough handball.

In the semi-finals Croatian handball team has played a tough match against the French handball team. Croatian national team has played in the changed formation against Tunisia and it was obvious that it does not work, but they do that again – against France. To me personally it is not clear why against Tunisia and France, we did not play with the same team as during the whole tournament. But history can not be changed. Even with such poor representation of our game and with all these problems, French handball team has managed relatively hard to win that match. It should be noted that France was in the semifinals once again with the help of judges. In the game Spain – France, when the Spanish team had their last attack and the ability to win, the judges have not judged pure exclusion foul of France, and then they admitted the French irregular goal in the last second of the game. Any comment is superfluous.
In the game for third place, Croatian handball team has played against Hungarian handball team, and Croatia has won well-deserved bronze medal.
