Not a bad week in the land of the guarantees, but there have been better weeks. No one saw Pittsburgh losing at home to the Raiders, and few saw Arizona kicking the Vikes all over the desert. And I really thought the Titans would do the Colts in. On the plus side, I did call the “Fins knocking off the Pats, and got the Seahawks score dead on, so the week wasn’t a total wash. At any rate, I’m at 10-5 with the Packers as my pick for tomorrow. Here are the weeks picks, game by game.

New York Jets (5-6) at Buffalo Bills (4-7)
The Bills pulled a rabbit out of their hat in knocking Miami’s block off. Bet the Jets are still operating under the assumption of a potential playoff berth.
Prediction: Jets keep their figment of a shot breathing. Jets 24 Bills 17.
Results: Jets 19 Bills 13. Jets keep hope alive. Sort of. Good

Philadelphia Eagles (7-4) at Atlanta Falcons (6-5)
The Eagles should handle the Dirty Birds, even in the dome.
Prediction: Eagles roll towards the Cowboys game that will probably decide the division. Eagles 34 Falcons 24
Results: Eagles 34 Falcons 7. Eagles looking more and more like a playoff team. Good

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-10) at Carolina Panthers (4-7)
You’d never guess it looking at their record, but the Bucs are an improved team with Freeman pulling the trigger.
Prediction: Upset special #1. Succaneers 27 Panthers 20.
Results: Panthers 16 Bucs 6. The Succaneers they remain. Bad

New England Patriots (7-3) at Miami Dolphins (5-6)
Maybe I’m just a masochist, but I somehow still think Miami might find a way to pull this out.
Prediction: Upset special #2. Dolphins 31 Pats 28.
Results: Dolphins 22 Patriots 21. I just keep saying it… most resilient team in the NFL. All Pro

St Louis Rams (1-10) at Chicago Bears (4-7)
Does Anyone care?
Prediction: Da Bears can at least beat the Rams. Bears 20 Rams 17.
Results: Bears 17 Rams 9. Even the Rams are a struggle. Good

Detroit Lions (2-9) at Cincinnati Bengals (8-3)
This will clinch the Bungles first winning season since…. uh…. I don’t think Fox even had a TV network then.
Prediction: Upset spe…. just kidding. Come on, it’s the Lions. Bungles 34 Lions 10
Results: Bungles 23 Lions 13. It wasn’t impressive. 9-3 is, though. Good

Tennessee Titans (5-6) at Indianapolis Colts (11-0)
The Colts just keep tempting fate. This week it catches up to them.
Prediction: Upset special #4. Titans 31 Colts 28.
Results: Colts 27 Titans 17. As good as the Titans have been, it wasn’t quite good enough. Bad

Houston Texans (5-6) at Jacksonville Jaguars (6-5)
A battle of teams still pretending they might make the playoffs.
Prediction: Texans pretend better. Jags27 Texans 20
Results: Jags 23 Texans 18. At 7-5, it could actually happen. Good

Denver Broncos (7-4) at Kansas City Chiefs (3-8)
Denver still clinging to the notion that they don’t suck.
Prediction: They can pretend one more week. Broncos 27 Chiefs 17
Results: Broncos 44 Chiefs 13. They did look good, but against the Chiefs? Good

Oakland Raiders (3-8) at Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5)
Time for the Steelers to start building playoff steam.
Prediction: No brainer. Steelers 31 Raiders 10.
Results: Raiders 27 Steelers 24. First… this makes it awful tough for the Steelers…. Second.. who’d have thought that getting rid of Jamarcus would turn the Raiders into a passable football team? Oh yeah… I did. Bad

New Orleans Saints (10-0) at Washington Redskins (3-8)
The Saints march to 16-0.
Prediction: Easy rolling. Saints 41 Redskins 13
Results: Saints 33 Redskins 30. Far closer than anyone thought, but they just find another way to win. Good

San Diego Chargers (8-3) at Cleveland Browns (1-10)
Cleveland shouldn’t be much more than a practice for the rolling Bolts.
Prediction: Ass whoopin. Bolts 45 Browns 7.
Results: Chargers 30 Browns 23. More than a practice, but 9-3 is 9-3. Good

Dallas Cowboys (8-3) at New York Giants (6-5)
This will be a good week for Cowboys fans. A win at New York that all but eliminates the G-men.
Prediction: Romo rolls. Cowboys 38 Giants 17.
Results: Giants 31 Cowboys 24. The Giants climb back to semi relevance. Cowboys still in good shape, but… Bad

San Fransisco 49ers (5-6) at Seattle Seahawks (4-7)
3 months ago, we would have thought this was a marquee matchup.
Prediction: I predict that I will yawn while I think about this game. Seahawks 20 49ers 17
Results: Seahawks 20 49ers 17. Perfect pick for the suck bowl. All Pro.

Minnesota Vikings (10-1) at Arizona Cardinals (7-4)
When was the last time the Vikings were even pushed?
Prediction: Favre sprays the desert for at least 3 tds as Vikings dominate. Vikings 38 Cardinals 20
Results: Cards 30 Vikings 17. So much for that. Now we’ll have to listen to a week of the inevitable “Favre is wearing out” theories. Bad.

Baltimore Ravens (6-5) at Green Bay Packers (7-4)
The Packers may be the best team after the Saints and Vikes when the smoke clears.
Prediction: The Ravens will throw everything at Rodgers; unlike he would have a month ago, Rodgers will make them pay. Packers 38 Ravens 24

Good week,I also picked The Bucs over Carolina, good call on the Miami game.
the 10 experts on the espn pick are below my pool pick (straight up)..132 end of week 12…you’ve got ‘ la vision ‘..ran into you rgig while surfing ….. ‘ i got it dude’….. sites..hold all my calls..i went 8/16 last week …ahem..big shooter ran out of ammo..still i’ve got 4 weeks..and i generally agree with your..” end run”.. critical path derivatives.. upsets this week are vikings/bengals…chiefs/bills…cowboys/chargers…eagles/giants..and did i say steelers/browns ?..oh kyle ortyon is healthy..and moreno and buckhalter …with marshall..and denver.s defence….no..dude..the mile hjgh gang.are bucking.this is the the week that the colts gotta visit the ferrier this week..rocky trail..in the mountains..yes they are home..however..best wishes..adios.
Haha wow, it’s funny how many cow fans talked shit to me about the Giants vs. Cowboys game, but it’s even more hilarious how they won’t even look me in the eyes after the outcome. Make no mistake, the Giants will not lose to their division rivals, and if any team can get the Giants confidence up and get them back in their zone by beating; it’s the Cows.
p.s how could you pick the Bucs over the Panthers? really, you’d pick a 1-10 team to beat the panthers? You definately don’t give this struggling but still good team enough credit. The Bucs will be a pretty good team but later, they need to get their new team used to eachother since they have a shitload of rookies.
Superbowl winner prediction; Colts, sorry they’re just unstoppable this season; Peyton Manning is definately the key component for that team. lol
Biggest upset this season: Saints losing against either the Falcans or Panthers. Let’s admit it, they’re slipping and it’s just like the Saints to fuck themselves over against a pretty legitimate team. and i CAN’T WAIT to laugh my ass off when that happens.
