1991-  Manuel Aristides Ramírez Onelcida also known as “Manny” was The Clevland Indians 13th round pick in the 1991 Draft. Manny was drafted to the Cleveland Indian owned, Burlington Indians (Rookie Level). During the season Manny posted outstanding numbers for a rookied, hitting 19 HR and 63 RBI in a very short season of 59 games. Manny became the Appalachian League MVP for 1991.

1992-  Playing for the Kingston Indians (A) Manny hit .278 with 13 HR and 81 RBI in only 81 games.

1993- Named “Minor League Player Of The Year” by Baseball America. Manny Hit a total of .333 with 31 HR and and whopping 115 RBI while playing for both the Canton-Akron Indians (AA) and the Charlotte Knights (AAA)

September 2, 1993- Making his Major League debut for the Indians Manny started off slow going 0-4 as the DH versus the Minnestota Twins. The next day the Indians played the New York Yankees where Manny came alive. He went 3-4 with 2 runs and a double.

1993-2000- During this 7 year stretch Ramirez continued to play for the Cleveland Indians hitting a total 236 HR and 804 RBI in 967 games.
