Manny Pacquiao is one of the highest paid athlete of all time. He is in line with Tiger woods in terms or payments. After his fight with Joshua Clottey, where he bagged a massive $12 million as guaranteed price. He has now a total $53 million in his last four fights, with $15 million from dela Hoyas fight.
Pacquiao-Mayweather fight if pushed through, it could have earned him a walloping $40 million in guaranteed price. But because of some reasons, it failed. Now that Mayweather is Facing Shane Mosley, I don’t think Manny and Mayweather will face. A possibility is, Pacquiao-Mosley if Mosley will win the upcoming fight againts Mayweather.
An interview with Manny’s mother, she wanted that her son will soon retires as she wanted to see her son on a winning streak and don’t want to see her son be defeated by other fighters. Only Manny can answer if he is up to another fight or not.
Manny’s next fight is against incumbent Congressman Erwin Chiongbian of Saranggani Province. But with 2 billion pesos income from boxing, he can definitely support his campaign for the congressional seat. And if he wins, he will likely to retire early and serve his kababayans.
