1. Get in the right stance. Stand with your legs slightly more than shoulder width apart. The leg of your non-dexterous leg should be a little in front. Your knees should be a little bent, with your body leaning slightly forward.
2. Pivot your hips and shoulders into a back swing, moving your whole body with the paddler.
3. Swing forward when the ball reaches, transferring your weight from your back leg to your front leg.
4. Strike the ball when it is at the peak of its bounce with the paddle at an acute angle from the table.
5. Follow through with your paddle pointing in the direction you want the ball to go.
