Should you choose style over comfort when buying the best boxing shoes for you? This may seem like an easy, no nonsense question but the truth is that many people would rather look cool in the boxing ring wearing some stylish shoes rather than having a sensible looking pair that is also the most comfortable and safest pair that money could buy. You may think that women would be worse at this but, oddly enough, men are just as bad.
Yes, these shoes come in a variety of colors and can be co-ordinated with the rest of the boxing outfit. However, if you are wearing a pair of colorful boxing shoes that look great with the rest of your ensemble but they are KILLING your feet, how is this helping you? Blisters on your feet will not help you have a productive work out or win an important boxing match.
The good news is that if you shop carefully you will most likely not need to worry about having to choose between being stylish and being comfortable. There are now materials used in making these shoes that are available in allof the colors in the rainbow and then some. This is especially true now that there are synthetic man made materials that can be dyed in many colors.
Boxing shoes that work the best are usually made from soft leather and suede with rubber soles that will keep you from sliding around all over the ring, or on the floor while you are executing some fancy foot work. The leather isof the lightest weight and will make you feel as if you have nothing on your feet at all. The little mesh ‘windows’ also let them breathe with little to no sweating. Happily, you can have all of these things as well as style. You just have to know where to look.
