Baseball
Baseball is an American game played between two teams of nine players with a bat and ball. The playing field is made up of a wedge-shaped out field and a diamond –shaped infield. Any other area is foul territory. Through it looks somewhat like cricket; it is a very different game. In baseball the batsman is in known as the batter and the bowler as picture. Played on a square field with four bases, the competing teams play nine innings, alternating in fielding and batting, with the home team batting last. The batting base, a pentagonal white slab of rubber, is known as the base.
The team at bat sends its nine men in a sequence and they attempt to hit the pitcher’s deliveries. Much like cricket, the batter can caught out or run out while trying to score a run. The team scoring maximum runs in nine innings is considered the winner.

Netball is a seven-a side court game, invented in the USA in 1891 and developed from basketball. The court is 100 feet (30.5 m) long and 50 feet (15.25 m) wide. The object is to score goals by throwing the ball through the opponent’s net which is attached to a circular hoop suspended on a post 10 feet (3.05m) high. Players must not run with the ball. Netball differs from Basketball in that it has only two shooters, as opposed to basket ball where any of 5 players in a side can score. Another way the two games differ is that in netball, the player can only bounce the ball once before passing it on within 3 seconds, whereas in basketball a player can `dribble’ or bounce the ball all the way down the court and even shoot at the basket.
