Afc and Nfc Championships: What to Look for

Yes there will be a bit of a surprise but what do you expect this is the NFL, and the term any given Sunday is at it’s highest.

First off my sole congratulations and hat goes off to the Colts, Jets, Vikings, and Saints for making it this far into the season. They’ve sent twenty eight teams packing and now the glory and dreams remain with just these four teams.

AFC Championship

Well on this side of the league a rookie coach will make a Super Bowl. But which quarterback will make it. The to-be-Hall of Famer or the rookie star out of USC.

The Jets play football the way it was meant to be played. They run the ball hard and have a tough defense. If the Jets get ahead early it won’t be too tough for Peyton Manning and company to come back. Reggie Wayne, however, will be shut down all game as Darrelle Revis will cover him the majority of the game.

But if the Colts get ahead I am sorry Jet fans. Mark Sanchez is still to inexpirenced to lead a good 2 minute drill type drive especially in this magnitude of a game.

My prediction: The Jets season is not over, I have never seen a team that wants it more then these sky high jets. Congratulation Jets you will be going to Super Bowl XLIV and you will beat the mighty Colts 21-20

NFC Championship

I have never looked forward to a game more then I have this one. This should get interesting from the opening kick off and should be an explosive offensive game. Brett Favre has never played better and Drew Brees is being Drew Brees.

I am in awe at the Vikings offensive unit. They have the best receiving core in the league and you have arguably the best quarterback to line up behind center taking the shots. And you also have one of the best running backs in the league in Adrian Peterson.

It will come down to the end on who wants it more. Brett Favre wants that feeling more then anything, the Saints have been waiting for a moment to shine for a long long time. But the purple people will be heading on to face the Jets in the Super Bowl but it will not be close. Vikings 45-42 over the Saints.
