Newcastle fans should leave Sam Allardyce alone and give him time to do his thing.
Newcastle fans have been on Sam Allardyce’s back pretty much non-stop since he took the job back in May. Even when he started off very well, picking up 8 points in his first 4 Premier League games with the team, fans were complaining, and recently, these complaints have become more intense.
Now, to let everyone know, I’m a massive Newcastle supporter. People often ask me why, seeing as we never have any success, but that’s not why I support them. I’ve supported them since I was 5 years old, and no matter what happens, I always will support them. Unlike most Newcastle supporters however, I’m looking at the facts of the matter. Newcastle fans have to stop demanding success now, and have to look at the bigger picture. So we’ve lost 4 games in a row. One of them was to Chelsea because of an obvious offside goal. Luck isn’t with the team right now, but they don’t deserve it because of the way they are playing. Allardyce can not be blamed for such basic errors as players not being able to control a ball, pass 20 yards, or mark a man. That is a problem that the players have to sort out themselves. Sam Allardyce is a quality manager, which is clearly evident from his time at Bolton. He took them from the Championship up to the Top Six of the Premiership. Also, to highlight how great he was, following his departure, they are now below Newcastle in the table, with Newcastle sitting in the bottom half of the table.
If Newcastle want to be successful, they need to stop searching for instant glory and need to give a manager the time to build a successful side. In the past 4 years, Newcastle have had 4 different managers. Compare that to the last 20 years at Manchester United or the last 12 years at Arsenal, where both sides have had the same manager for those time periods.
Personally, I think Sam Allardyce is the man for the job. He’s definitely one of the best managers in the Premier League, and he has made major steps in taking Newcastle back to where they should be, although it mightn’t look like it. He’s fixed one of Newcastle’s biggest problems, their defensive frailties, which will eventually lead to a large overall improvement. Give him time, and success will come.

Ok, if no-one cares about European soccer, how it is the biggest sport in the world. Everyone knows European soccer is bigger than soccer elsewhere, and soccer is bigger than all other sports.
Also, what is wrong with my title? I’m fluent at English, and have lived with it all my life. My title makes perfect sense. The title is the beginning of the discussion into why Allardyce should be allowed manage Newcastle his own way. Of course, he was recently fired, but that doesn’t change the grammar aspect of a gramatically perfect title.
good article mmate, i would say the grammar of the title is a little off to be honest, he just bein an amrican i presume though so leave him to it.
Managers should be left to a job, fast sacking of managers is all to common now, and being a Man utd fan i see the advantages to a long term stable manager more than most, if football had been like this 20 years ago when ferguson was first manager of man utd, he would have been sacked after the first two years, buthe was given a chance and showed what could happen with a bit of faith and loyaty
( i know my grammar is off in this by the way wasent havein a go at your title in any way lol)
