5. Lionel Messi

Some would say Lionel Messi is the greatest soccer player alive. He has had some great goals in his career and is still going, today playing for Barcelona as one of their main goal scorers. He is very fast and has a deadly touch that makes him a threat to any player, he truly is such a sensational player.

4. Ronaldinho

Ronaldinho, today people say is at his peak but is/and has been great. In 2002, he was one of the main figures that lead his team (BRAZIL) to victory, winning their fifth FIFA world cup. Ronaldinho is mostly known for his skills and in his career has attempted and mastered almost every trick there is to master. He is a fantastic player and should be in the top 5.

3. Zinadine Zidane

Zinadine Zidane is a great player who has worked hard in his career to build up such a good reputation. However, his exit in his final international match,(which happened to be a FIFA world cup) caused a lot of controversy that lead to some investigations. Before his retirement, he was a truly skilled player who would never give up and lead his team to victory. He is my number 3rd best player of all time.  

2. Maradona

Maradona, in many eyes, is the best soccer player ever born. He was just unbelievable. His skills also showed on the pitch as he took on many players in matches, dribbling them all and finally scoring. This became a routine when he was promoted to play for his country Argentina. He is a magnificent player and is second on my list.

1. Pele

Pele, Pele, Pele, all people would think of when they hear that word is LEGEND. Pele was such a skilled player who set up many goals and scored just as much. He was not selfish and played with style and passion. There were times when he did not perform to the best of his abilities. However he bounced back and never gave up. In my eyes, he is the best soccer player of all time.
