Steven Gerrard

Now I don’t know the full facts about what happened in the club in Southport, but it seems to me that the media and its pundits are trying to win Steven Gerrards case before it has even got to court. they should be stopped from portraying what kind of charracter they want us to believe he is. Maybe he is a decent man or maybe this is just the first time he has been caught out. He would not be the first good man to do something terribly wrong under the influence of alcohol, which in my mind is a class “A” drug.
Affray and assault are serious crimes in which the normal man in the street would serve at least six months in prison, If Steven Gerrard is found not guilty then he will go to play football for many years to come, and be a stronger and better person for the experience. But if found guilty he should be punished to fit the crime by the courts and also be punished by liverpool football club.
