Every four years top nations get to compete against each other in front of billions of people worldwide.
Next World Cup is being held in South Africa in 2010 while a hundred and plus nations are getting ready for it thru qualifying to make 32 teams that will be represented in South African. It’s the first time Africa will host this competition. Everyone is exited as countdown is underway.
Most people have an idea who will hold the trophy in the picture. It’s hard to predict the future but story is always the same. It’s either South American country such as Brazil or Argentina or one of top four European nations.
My prediction:
BRAZIL! Brazil is only nation that has won World Cup outside its own continent. Five time champion has done it in Asia, North America and Europe. European sides have only won on their soil. No African side has gone past quarterfinals in this competition.
But saying that Brazil will win it is a guess when you look at history. Anything is possible but this nation that has come to play the way game is meant to be played. Let’s enjoy 2010 in South Africa!
