Soccer/Football

Why on earth do American’s call it soccer and not its real name football. I know you guys have your own football but which sport is played more with the foot come on now people.

Soccer anywhere else in the world is called Football and that should be the name worldwide I think and I hope many agree with me on that. It is a logical name for the sport I mean you touch the ball with your foot put the two words together and what do you get Football. In American Football you touch the ball with your foot maybe 10 times in the game if that when you have a low touch down game. Don’t get me wrong but I love American Football but not as much as Football.

Football/Soccer is a contact sport many people may not no that but it is. When you play Football don’t expect to go out there are not be pushed around and knocked down because its apart of the sport. If you are a ref your need to know this too and not blow the whistle every time someone nudges or shoves someone.

The MLS I think that is a joke version of Football it not nearly as serious and real Football in Europe. Europe football players get a good pay and here they get a penny compared to what they get abroad. There are a couple players in the MLS that should not be wasting their time with the MLS and should go abroad. Now not to dog on the MLS I mean it’s Football but, when I watch it I am sad and not as in trigged and watching it in Europe. I am sorry but, Europe soccer is the shit and I love it so much sorry if I hurt your feelings in this.
