Soccer Oracle Octopus Receives Honorary Status From Spain
A delegation of Spaniards went to Germany to meet the wonder octopus which fortold that spain would win the 2010 South African football World cup title.

Paul the octopus was given full honorary membership to several Spanish towns and cities after Spain won the 2010 World Cup. Just recently a delegation led by a city mayor visited the octopus and awarded him with a silver plaque. The octopus had reporteedly also received some of the most deligious spanish muscles that money can buy. The ,mayor and his delegation had allegedly also given the octopus a friendly rub so as to have some of the oracle powers transmitted, reports said. Paul the octopus had allegedly foreseen that Spain would beat Holland in the final match. The oracle octopus has been in the news for quite some time and one Southeast-Asian entrepreneur had allegedly wanted to buy the animal for quite a high price, but its owner would not sell, fearing that the octopus would end up as sushi on a plate for millionaire gourmets.
