Paul the Octopus has statue made, in honour of him.

Paul, the Octopus who was made famous after correctly predicting scores during the 2010 Football world cup, died in October, but left memories for every football fan who enjoyed the world cup.

He correctly predicted the results for all of Germany’s games during the 2010 world cup as well as the result in the final between Spain and The Netherlands.

Paul had a huge fan base and as such the aquarium thought it only right to honour him in some way.

The statue of Paul the octopus was revealed and shows Paul sitting on top of a football.
