Is “Money” Ruining English Football?
Is the money being pumped into English football ruining the game?

Football, for some years now, has had a lot of money being “pumped” into it. This money has mainly came from “television” income, but a “wealthy owner” also helps. Some players are on “ridiculous” amounts of money. If you’re a big club in English football, and have a wealthy owner(s), it is easier to pay large wages etc., and maybe therefore “entice” good players to your club. However, if you’re a smaller club you may struggle.
Surely success in football, should not have anything to do with how much money your club has got. Football then seems to offer a snowball effect……the more successful you are, the more money you get!
The main money that is being “thrown around” is in the Premiership. Recently there seem to be the same teams finishing near the top of the Premiership, year after year. Ticket prices to watch games, in may cases, are way too high.
Something needs to be done to bring the “game” back to reality.
