Hampden Park is sometimes simply referred to as Hampden, this football stadium is located in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow in Scotland, the 52,063 capacity venue serves as the national stadium of football in Scotland, it is the home venue for the Scotland national football team and amateur Scottish Football League club Queen’s Park, the stadium also hosts the latter stages of the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup competitions, in 2012 the stadium will host some of the 2012 Olympic Football Tournament games, the stadium is also used for music concerts and many other big sporting events, in the case of music concerts the below seating plan will be different as there will be the need for a stage plus spectator standing area on the pitch.

Hampden has hosted many prestigious sporting events, these include three Champions League finals, two Cup Winners’ Cup finals and a UEFA Cup final and hosted some of the 2012 Olympic football matches, Hampden is a UEFA category four stadium


Hampden Park stadium is a short five minute walk from Mount Florida Station and King’s Park Station, Trains can be caught to both of these stations from the Glasgow central station.
