Premier League Matches On Offer: SATURDAY 23rd OCTOBER 2010

Tottenham Hotspur v Everton KO: 12:45

Birmingham City v Blackpool

Chelsea v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sunderland v Aston Villa

West Bromwich Albion v Fulham

Wigan Athletic v Bolton Wanderers

West Ham United v Newcastle United

Kick off at 15:00 BST Unless stated otherwise.

PICK OF THE DAY: Tottenham v Everton. Everton would be keen to reignite the perennial battle between the two clubs for the tag of  the better club out of the rest besides the traditional quartet of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. With the down turn in the fortunes of Liverpool this season, the mega investment going on at Manchester City, the battle for one of the coveted champions league slots is up for grabs with six- eight clubs in contention. Tottenham would be glad to solidify their gains this season as they enjoy Champions league football at the expense of Liverpool courtesy of their fourth position in last seasons campaign. Everton will seek to bet one over Tottenham maybe just to remind them of where they belong and to keep up the momentum of their 2-0 derby win over Liverpool in the previous round of matches. Home advantage may help but expect Everton to come out tops courtesy of the tiring effects of the losing trip to Milan to face last years Champions league Champions Inter Milan by Tottenham.

Key Men: Tottenham [ Gareth Bale, Van Der Vaart] Everton [ Tim Cahil, Arteta]

Premier League Matches On Offer : Sunday 24th OCTOBER 2010

Stoke City v Manchester United KO: 13:30

Liverpool v Blackburn Rovers KO: 15:00

Manchester City V Arsenal  KO: 16:00

PICK OF THE DAY: Obvious choice is the late kick off. Manchester City v Arsenal is a tantalising match up pitting two different styles in the approach to the beautiful game. Arsenal pursue a frugal policy based on youth development and structured player wages in the aim of keeping true to a self sustainability model. Manchester City have gone the galaticos and Roman Abromovich way which Arsenal’s manger Arsene Wenger terms as akin to financial doping. While Arsenal rely on guile, attacking verve and craft on the pitch to produce results, Manchester City under Roberto Mancini care more for physicality, defensive organization spiced with pinches of flair thereabouts.
