Euro 2012 Team Jersey is Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles

Environmentally-Friendly is one of the theme of EURO 2012. Not only eight stadiums in Poland-Ukraine who claimed matter of the earth, but also the costumes to be worn by players. Nike has launched the latest jersey of the few developed countries in the field of sport, including Croatia, France, Netherlands, Poland and Portugal which will take them to the one of the largest football tournament in Europe’s field this summer.

Nike’s commitment to improve a player’s performance and reduce environmental impact, Nike jersey fabric that is used for jersey shorts are made of 100% polyester that can be recycled. Meanwhile, every jersey uses of recycled plastic bottles around 13.

The new Nike jersey is constructed using Nike Dri-Fit technology to reduce the moisture, and are made from fabric which is 23 percent lighter and 20 percent of the knitted structure is more robust than previous Nike uniforms. Jersey has also emphasizes the ventilation holes feature laser-cut to provide a cooling effect on a particular area, to help regulate body temperature’s players throughout the game. Nike Pro Combat Compression Hyperstrong Slider Shorts, will also provide benefits to the players. Shorts from Nike are promoting the latest security features to the thighs so that players can practice and compete at high speed and confidence. Thigh panels are friction-free to avoid blisters and itching on the skin when athletes glide above the ground. Dri-Fit fabric helps reduce perspiration and helps athletes to stay dry, while compression fit gives a sense of a tight fitting jersey but also the visual reponsif. The visual design jersey of each federation was created after gaining valuable inputs which were inspired by the national identity and culture of football is very different from each country. Shirt and shorts are also rich in detail that inspired by the history and heritage of each team.

For the complete uniform on game day, Nike also launched a series of lifestyle apparel and integrated training.
