DAVID BECAHM- LIFE OF A GLOBAL FOOTBAL SUPER STAR
Well the former Manchester united favourite’s full name is David Robert Joseph Becham, born 2 may 1975. Twice runner up for world player of the year at 2004 David became the highest paid footballer in the world. Former England captain starting at year 200 till 2006. The English football role model started his glittering career at his boyhood team Manchester united FC, signing a contract with them. Made his professional debit at 1992 aged 17.
Well What did David Becham win during his time at Manchester united?
The global super star won 6 premier league titles, also two FA cups, and the champions league, who can forget that remarkable final in Barcelona against Bayern Munich. David made 399 appereances for Manchester united and also scored remarkable 87 goals, A truly Manchester united legend, will always be remembered at manchester united. His manchester united career started at the year 1992 but sadly ended at the season 2002 till 2003 moving to mega rich spanish giants Real Madrid. Playing with superstars like Ronaldo, Zidane, Raul, Roberto Carlos.
Why did David leave Manchester united his favourite boyhood team what happened to the relationship between him and Sir Alex Ferguson?
David had a good relationship but until the year 2000, things started going bad. Becham had permission to leave training to look after his child Brooklyn who had gastroenteritis.But Ferguson was furious man when he found out that, on that very night Victoria (Becham wife) when to a London fashion week event on that night, when really she could have looked after her child, then David would have not missed his training.
Ferguson famously said about him at the 2007 wedding of Becham saying ” He was never a problem until he got married . He used to go into work with the academy coaches at night time, he was fantastic young lad getting married into that entertain scene was a difficult thing- from that moment, his life was never going to be the same. He is such a big celebrity, football is only a small part. Who knows maybe if it wasn’t for his fame and celebrity status and his wife, then maybe might have stayed at Manchester United FC.
Manchester united to Real Madrid?
In the year 2003 Manchester united were keen to sell Becham to FC Barcelona, but instead he signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid for the price of £25 million pounds to £35 million pounds. On his first season with Real Madrid they finished fourth in the leagues standings, but Becham quickly became a fan favourite, scoring five goals in 16 matches. 2007 was the year David won something at last with Real Madrid, he won his first La Liga title with Real. At the end of the season Becham left Real for LA Galaxy, he already signed with them during the January transfer window. Real Madrid did however attempt to keep him at the club due to improved form, but LA Galaxy refused to listen to an offers.
David’s fame does not only exist on the pitch also outside it. In most parts of the world his name is so recognizable just as that of multinational companies such as coco cola and also IBM.

Becham never really appeared in the movie Bend it like Becham, except only in archive footage. He and victoria (his wife) wanted to make cameo appearances but scheduling proved difficult for them, so the director opted for look a likes. Becham did make cameo appearances in the goal movie the dream begins in 2005 alongside football stars Zine dine Zidane and Raul. He did take pat in lager roles in the movie dream 3 taking on the world.
