Cristiano Ronaldo Continues to Lead Portugal From One Success to Another in Euro 2012

Cristiano Ronaldo, the sensational Real Madrid Star has continued to do what he did for Real Madrid last season in the ongoing  Euro 2012, this time, for his own country Portugal. What ever you want to say about Cristiano, this man to me, is simply the best in the world. I do not think, Leonel Messi will come any where near his accomplishments in 2012 and frankly speaking, if he fails to win the FIFA Award for the player of the year this time round, then am sure the whole world will feel disappointed.

He has single handedly caused nearly all the goals for Portugal in Poland. His powerful header against the Czech Republic last night left Peter Czech flat footed and guaranteed his country’s qualification the last eight stage and regardless of what people say, I think Portugal, just because of Ronaldo, is a very serious contender for the Euro 2012 Trophy.

Ronaldo had become a house-name in the English Premier. His exit to Real Madrid left a powerful dent in Manchester United. He went to Real Madrid and did not do much in his first season there…but in his second season, he was unstoppable, scoring goals in the Laliga  like he was playing teams without defences or goal keepers.

As captain, he is a superb motivator and commander. He is combining  so well his former team mate Nani and Joao and the way I see it, there is nothing to stop Cristiano Ronaldo and his national team from reaching the finals, perhaps, with Germany and when that happens, I can bet on Portugal because of this one man called Cristiano.
