Finally after deciding not to renew his contract in Schalke 04, many rumour about Raul Gonzales new club..
He is linked with MLS, American soccer league when many of the star player choose MLS as the last club before deciding retired.
But at least, Raul Gonzales had found his next club..He did not choose MLS or another European club. But he choose asian league, Qatar..
He accept the offer from Qatar club, Al Sadd. He will be contracted 1 year duration.
Actually Raul Gonzales had arrived in Doha (the capital of Qatar) for watching his new club in Emir Cup final, where his club lost 3-4 from Al Gharafa in Pinalty shout out..
There are question why Raul choose asian league, while he still get many chance for playing in European league..
It is his first non european club when he spend his time for playing in European league..He get many achievement in Real madrid (remember he is Madrid icon in his era, he had scored more than 323 goals)…
Al Sadd had ever contracted many famous player like Gabriel Batistuta, Fernando Hierro, Marcel Desailly, Frank Lebouf, Raul Gonzales is the second spanish player which play in Al Sadd.
Al Sadd is one of the succesfully asian club, where get 12 times a domestik league trophy and 2 times Asian champions league (1989 and 2011)
