The UEFA Champions League is made up of 32 Teams with 18 of them being champions in their own domestic leagues, These 32 teams are split in to 8 groups of 4 with the leaders of the groups going on to play each other in the Knock out stages before playing the final in Madrid, Spain, Listed below are the 4 teams that make group E.
Liverpool: Boss: Rafa Benitez, Title odds: 8-1, Domestic Form: Liverpool came second in the Premier League last season and are hoping to improve on that this campaign, however they have stumbled with 2 defeats already and questions are being asked about the chance of getting their first title since 1990, European Form:Five time European champions with wins in 1977,1978,1981,1984 and 2004, Making them the most successful English club, They have also won the UEFA Cup on 3 occasions in 1973,1976 and 2001.
Lyon: Boss: Claude Puel, Title odds: 33-1, Domestic Form: Lyon came 3rd in last seasons French top flight, This season they have won 4 and drawn 1 of their opening 5 games making them currently second, European Form:They have made 11 appearances in the champions league and have never got past the last eight stage, Their only European success came in the Intertoto Cup in 1997 when they beat Montpellier in the final.
Fiorentina: Boss: Cesare Prandelli, Title odds: 100-1, Domestic Form: Fiorentina finished 4th last season in Italian top flight Serie A, They have made a good solid start this season winning 2 of their first 3 fixtures, European Form:They were runners up to Real Madrid in 1957, In 1990 they were runners up in the UEFA Cup, Won the Cup Winners Cup in 1961 and were runners up the following season.
