UEFA hope that the presence of 18 National Champions in the 32-team group stage will make this years Champions League an even more attractive competition, The Champions League consists of 8 groups each with 4 teams in,  Below we will take a look at the 4 teams in group B

Group B

Manchester united: Boss: Sir Alex Ferguson, Title odds: 6-1, Domestic Form:European:winners of the trophy in 1968 and have since won it twice under Sir Alex Ferguson in 1999 and 2008, Beaten in last years final by Barcelona, In 1991 won the Cup Winners cup. Manchester United won the English Premier League last season, This season they have been shaken by a shock defeat at Burnley who have been newly promoted, United have since beaten Arsenal and Tottenham to become second in the league,

CSKA Moscow:  Boss: Juande Ramos, Title odds: 200-1, Domestic Form: Last season they finished 2nd in their domestic league, midway through their current campaign in the Russian premier league they are 10 points behind leaders Rubin and are currently 3rd,European:Their only European triumph came when they won the UEFA Cup in 2005 by beating Sporting Lisbon, Last year they reached the last 16 of the same competition and look to be stepping up in form.

Besiktas: Boss: Mustafa Denizli, Title odds: 250-1, Domestic Form: Last seasons Turkish champions have started their new campaign poorly with 1 win from their opening 5 games, They are currently 11th in the Turkish league, European: No trophy’s to date and are novices in the Champions League, They were thrashed 8-0 by Liverpool in a group match two years ago, However they can be a danger as they later went on to beat Liverpool at their home ground in Istanbul.

Wolfsburg: Boss: Armin Veh, Title odds: 40-1, Domestic Form:Bundesliga champions for the first time last season under boss Felix Magath who has since left the club, Veh’s side has lost their last 3 games in the German Bundesliga, European:Newcomers to the group stages to the Champions League, They are virtual novices in all of the European competitions and have only ever had poor and unsuccessful campaigns in the UEFA Cup.
