Manchester City will be hoping for 3 points push to give them 12 points from four matches played so far.

It is likely that Sergio Aguero would make a return into the team after suffering from a knee injury during the UEFA midweek clash against Spanish and European giants Real Madrid.

Unfortunately, Samir Nasri who was substituted in the first half of the crucial UEFA encounter against Real Madrid is suffering from a hamstring injury and it’s possible he might miss a couple of matches due to his injury.

Man City right-back is expected to make a return to full fitness while his colleague Micah Richards still remains a long-term absentee with no date earmarked for his comeback.

Wojciech Szczesny, Jack Wilshere and Emmanuel Frimpong are now all available for Arsene Wenger to select.

Tomas Rosicky and Bacary Sagna are also set to make a return.

So far only Samir Nasri and Micah Richards are the only Manchester City players whose names are sure to be out of the team in the faceoff against Arsenal.

Bacary Sagna and Tomas Rosicky are the only Arsenal players sure to miss the game against Man City.

In the last three encounters between Manchester City and Arsenal last seasons all resulted in a 1-0

In Manchester City’s last five matches, they recorded a LDWDW whiles Arsenal recorded a WWWDD.

Arsenal is expected to start the match with Mannone in the goal post, Gibbs, Jenkinson, Mertesacker and Vermaelen taking the defensive position and Podolski, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ivorian star Gervinho being the attackers.

Manchester City is likely to start the game with Joe Hart as the goal keeper, Clichy, Lescott, Maicon and Kompany as the defenders, Toure, Silva and Milner taking up the midfield and Tevez being the attacker.

According to a poll conducted by a popular sports site 61.8% of the public have predicted a win for Asene Wenger’s Arsenal whilst 28.6% predicted for a win for Manchester City and 9.6% of total votes casted predicted a draw.

The crucial encounter will take off at 15hours GMT at the Etihad Stadium with M. Dean being the referee for the game.
